Job summary

Responsibilities

• Consults with agency management and employees regarding personnel and payroll matters.
• Plans, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff responsible for personnel and payroll transactions.
• Recommends selection and discipline of assigned staff, trains staff in work procedures, plans, directs and participates in agency recruitment activities.
• Assists in the preparation of job announcements and advertising, reviews or assists in the development of selection methods and materials and oversees the selection of screening panel and/or qualifications appraisal panel members.
• Interprets, applies and explains related laws, rules.
