Job summary

ATX Learning in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support payroll processing and accounting activities. You will handle bi-weekly payroll, time and attendance, and related compliance with federal and state laws.

The role requires 3 years of payroll experience, strong Excel abilities, and familiarity with MUNIS ERP. A BA/associate degree or equivalent is preferred, and confidentiality of employee records must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Three (3) year payroll experience required inclusive of preparing, verifying and processing payroll.
• Competent in the use of payroll software programs/MUNIS ERP.
• Experience with Federal and State employment tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient with computer technology in the office setting including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Produce and process bi-weekly payroll including preparation of payroll checks, direct deposits and payroll liabilities using Munis software.
• Communicates with staff and external parties regarding payroll information.
• Monitors payroll activities for compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements.
• Reconciles payroll account balances to maintain accurate balances.
• Resolves discrepancies with payroll and documentation for accuracy of records and employee pay.
• Ensure that reporting to the IRS and NHRS is completed in a timely manner.
