Job summary

Teradata Corporation (SE) is seeking a New Logo Account Executive for Public Sector to identify, develop, and close net-new business across federal, state, local, and education segments. You will build executive relationships, uncover modernization initiatives, and position Teradata's data, analytics, and AI solutions to mission-critical programs.

This hunter-focused role emphasizes demand creation, account penetration, and revenue growth within the public sector territory, including procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven track record of quota-carrying new logo sales in cloud, data, analytics, AI, enterprise software, IT solutions, or consulting services.
• Experience closing net-new opportunities within Federal, State, Local Government, or Higher Education accounts is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of public sector processes, procurement cycles, compliance considerations, modernization priorities and trends.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive, business, procurement and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and acquire new public sector customers within an assigned territory.
• Develop account penetration strategies to generate net-new opportunities and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with IE, SE, ISR, and partners to design data, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to achieve new logo sales and services objectives.
• Build executive relationships and navigate procurement frameworks to close deals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and forecast revenue across the full sales cycle.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
