Job summary

Teradata is seeking a New Logo Account Executive for Public Sector in the United States. You will identify, develop, and close net-new opportunities across federal, state, local, and education.

Build executive relationships, position Teradata’s data, analytics, and AI solutions, and drive mission-critical outcomes for agencies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; MBA a plus.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying new logo sales for cloud, data, analytics, AI, IT solutions, or consulting services.
• Experience selling to Federal, State, Local Government, or Higher Education accounts is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of public sector processes, procurement cycles, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to address executive, procurement, and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and close net-new public sector opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Develop account penetration strategies to expand Teradata's footprint and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Industry Experts, Solution Engineers, ISR, and partners to design and present data/AI solutions.
• Plan territory strategy to achieve new logo sales and services targets.
• Navigate procurement frameworks and lead negotiations with legal and finance teams.
