Job summary

Teradata is seeking a New Logo Account Executive for Public Sector in San Diego to identify, develop, and close net-new opportunities across federal, state, local, and education sectors. You will build executive relationships, uncover modernization initiatives, and position Teradata's data, analytics, and AI solutions to help agencies achieve mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Quota-carrying new logo sales experience in cloud, data, analytics, AI, or enterprise software.
• Experience closing net-new opportunities in Federal, State, Local Government, or Higher Education.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement cycles and compliance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for exec and procurement audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close net-new public sector opportunities.
• Build relationships with agency leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IE, SE, ISR and partners to design data, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve new logo targets.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and forecast revenue using CRM.
