AT&T Global Public Sector in the United States is seeking a high-visibility Principal Network Project/Program Manager to oversee a large, multi-year public–private technology program for public safety. You will own execution, milestones, and deliverable quality across wireless network deployments and rapid-deployable assets, while ensuring government contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive government contract project management experience and strong organizational skills.
• Telecommunications industry experience, preferably wireless.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Strong, process-oriented project management skills.
• Customer-facing role with regular interaction with government customers.
• Flexibility to shift assignments to support higher-priority initiatives.
• Drive to learn new concepts, tools, procedures, and software that improve team performance.
• 10+ years of progressive program/portfolio management experience in complex technical or government environments.
• Demonstrated ownership of large, multi-track portfolios with formal contract and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations with government stakeholders and executives.
• Strong requirements-management and traceability discipline.

Responsibilities

• Owns execution oversight and milestone delivery across a multi-track portfolio of complex programs.
• Acts as principal interface to the government customer, negotiating scope and building relationships.
• Manages requirements traceability, deliverable quality, and portfolio-level risk/issue management.
• Partners with network, product, finance, contracts, and other teams to drive delivery and acceptance.
• Maintains contract compliance while meeting business objectives.
• Coaches project managers in a matrixed environment while contributing hands-on work.
• Communicates clearly with senior executives and external stakeholders.
