Job summary

DSI Tech in Ashburn, VA is seeking an Inside Sales Account Representative - SLED to align Tier I and II vendors with customer needs, including Cisco, HPE, HP, Palo Alto, Crestron, Extron, DELL/EMC, and Microsoft.

You will quote and sell vendor products to state and local agencies and higher education, maintain records, and collaborate with warehouse, service staff, and vendor support to ensure seamless delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Inside Sales or Account Management experience in the SLED VAR industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and align Tier I and II vendors with customer requirements (Cisco, HPE, HP, Palo Alto, Crestron, Extron, DELL/EMC, Microsoft).
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, credit terms, and rates to clients.
• Manage multiple purchase orders, ensuring accurate data entry in sales software.
• Quote and sell vendors’ products and professional services to state/local agencies and higher education.
• Attend vendor training sessions to stay informed on offerings and industry developments.
• Maintain precise records of customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in the tracking system.
• Build strong customer relationships through prompt, courteous service and collaboration with warehouse, service, and manufacturer support.
