Job summary

Requirements include four years of HVACR experience, with two years in a skilled trade, and licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration work.
• Two years of the General or Special Experience may be substituted by related roles per state guidelines.
• Licensure as HVAC (D2, S2) is preferred and can be required by the appointing authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled HVACR tasks using standard trade practices and codes.
• Operate, maintain, repair, install, modify and assemble HVACR equipment and systems.
• Monitor and adjust air flow, humidity, and indoor environmental conditions.
• Keep records of work, estimates and material use; liaise with other units as needed.
