Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking a qualified HVACR Craft Worker to join the Gateway campus team in New Haven, CT. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing HVACR systems to ensure efficient operation across campus facilities.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in HVACR trade.
• Two (2) years of the General Experience must be in skilled HVACR trades.
• Experience with time estimates and shop records preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply per CT standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly skilled HVACR tasks per standard trade practices and codes.
• Operates, maintains, repairs, and installs HVACR equipment and systems.
• Determines cooling capacity requirements for spaces and monitors system performance.
• Keeps records and may act as liaison with other units.
