The City of Vernon is seeking an experienced HR Services Manager to lead day-to-day HR services, advise leaders on employee and labour relations, and drive workforce initiatives that support a skilled, engaged workforce.

Reporting to the Interim Director, HR Services, this role will develop, review and implement HR policies, support budgeting and efficiency improvements, and deliver practical, service-focused HR solutions while ensuring legislative compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in HR or business.
• CPHR designation required.
• Five years HR services experience with at least three in management.
• Experience with employee and labour relations, including investigations and grievances.
• Policies and program development experience.
• Strong financial sense and legislative knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused with practical, solutions-oriented service.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM systems; Workday a plus.
• Public sector or unionized environment experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combinations considered.
