Baker Tilly US is seeking a GAAP Compilation Senior Consultant to join our Public Sector group, serving state and local governments across the United States. This role oversees day-to-day GAAP compilations, reporting, and related projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred, and 3+ years of attest experience in a professional services firm. Travel is limited; relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA is preferred.
• Minimum three years of attest experience in a professional services firm.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
• Strong communication, client service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting.
• Identify accounting and reporting issues per professional guidelines.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Build relationships and communicate effectively with clients.
• Supervise staff through coaching and evaluation.
• Engage in professional development and networking events.
• Assist with recruiting activities and referrals.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards and teamwork.
• Travel may be required but is limited.
