Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a GAAP Compilation Consultant to join our Public Sector Advisory group, serving government entities nationwide. You will prepare data for GAAP financial statements, assist with compilations, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining high ethical and client-service standards.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA eligibility is preferred, with experience in attest services desirable. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA eligible preferred.
• Experience providing attest services in a professional services firm is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards; strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process client data for GAAP financial statements, agreed procedures, and special projects.
• Identify accounting and reporting issues per U.S. GAAP.
• Recommend process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Build strong client relationships and provide superior service.
• Participate in training and networking events; assist recruiting activities.
• Collaborate with team with high ethical standards and strong problem-solving.
• Assist on compilation of Schedule of Federal Expenditures; travel may be required.
