Baker Tilly is seeking a GAAP Compilation Consultant to join our Public Sector Advisory group, serving state and local governments across the United States. The role involves processing client data for GAAP financial statements and related projects, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

You will build client relationships, support recruitment efforts, and participate in professional development while travel is limited. A Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required or strongly preferred.
• CPA eligibility is preferred for this role.
• Experience with attest services in a professional services firm is advantageous.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process client data for GAAP financial statements and related projects.
• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues per professional guidelines.
• Recommend business and process improvements based on client operations.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver superior client service.
• Support recruiting activities and participate in training events.
• Demonstrate teamwork, ethics, and professional development.
• Assist with Schedule of Federal Expenditures compilation.
• Travel is limited but may be required.
