Job summary

The State of Indiana, through INDOT, seeks a Project Coordination professional to develop, review, and manage RFPs, coordinate ERMS routing, and monitor budgeting and compliance. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, planning, designers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in program subject matter obtained through experience and/or education.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of accounting and budget principles.
• Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage RFPs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with INDOT standards.
• Coordinate ERMS routing and quality control of all design plan submissions, ensuring correct formatting and timely progression through required review cycles.
• Lead consultant scoring teams; manage scorer coordination, eligibility checks, training verification, and compliance with scoring protocols.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Planning, MPO staff, Central Office reviewers, designers, Construction, Utilities, Permitting, and consultants to support smooth project delivery.
• Monitor review timelines, identify delays, and coordinate expedited ERMS reviews when necessary.
