Job summary

AWS is seeking a Solutions Architect to guide Federal Civilian Science and Policy customers, owning complex implementations and architectures using AWS cloud services. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team on security, integration, and deployment strategies, influencing design decisions and winning customer trust.

You will travel up to 30% and interact with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes across architectures and security controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of specific technology domains including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Bachelor's degree or relevant security certifications (e.g., CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+)

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and security as it relates to customer applications and services
• Educate and share best practices with the AWS solution architect community
