Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work with some of our largest Public Sector customers, focusing on information security and compliance in AWS.

You will become a trusted advisor to customers, collaborating with Global Government teams to address security risk and compliance questions across Identity, Data Protection, Network Security, and Generative AI. You will design secure architectures, build proofs-of-concept, and develop technical content to help

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with AWS strategic customers to convey cloud computing security, compliance, and risk management best practices.
• Provide subject matter expertise on security topics including identity, data protection, network security, and agent-based AI.
• Design and build working proof-of-concept architectures to tackle emerging security challenges.
• Develop technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, for secure and compliant cloud solutions.
• Provide mentorship across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams regarding Security and Identity.
• Work with customers to understand compliance models in the cloud.
• Represent AWS at trade events by delivering presentations and workshops.
