Job summary

The City of Oak Harbor is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead complex city-funded projects from conception through closeout. You will plan, budget, and schedule capital improvements, coordinate design reviews, environmental reviews, consultant contracts, and award building contracts, while ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of civil project management experience; municipal experience and PMP are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of civil/construction project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Municipal government experience preferred.
• Background check and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning meetings to define objectives and scopes.
• Develop design and construction schedules and monitor contractor progress.
• Administer consultant contracts and prepare agreements.
• Oversee project design reviews and budget adherence.
• Prepare cost and scheduling analysis reports.
• Represent CIP group on city service teams.
