Bay County seeks a Capital Projects Manager to support the Capital Projects Division. You will oversee design professionals and contractors through design and construction of county capital projects, ensuring timeliness, budget adherence, and high quality.

The role requires an associate degree in construction-related field and five years of related experience, plus strong communication and project management abilities. The position is on-site in Panama City, FL.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree in construction-related field; five years’ related commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of architecture/engineering principles as related to building construction.
• Strong written and oral communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist Capital Projects Division Manager with management of design consultants and contractors during design and construction of County Capital Improvement Projects.
• Prepare, negotiate, execute, and manage task orders for consultants and contractors; prepare RFP/ITB/RFQ and bidding documents.
• Review plans, specifications, and estimates; evaluate and recommend awards; monitor budget, scope, and schedule.
