EDB, a data and AI platform leader for Postgres-based workloads, seeks an Analytics & AI Account Executive for Public Sector Sales. The role partners with PubSec Sales AEs to accelerate Platform and Analytics revenue, drive opportunity generation, and enable field teams with the latest analytics messaging and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise technology sales.
• Experience selling Analytics, AI, data platforms, cloud, databases, SaaS, or related enterprise technology.
• Understanding of government regulations and security/data management for sensitive Public Sector data.
• Experience selling to Public Sector customers and leaders.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Ability to create pipeline beyond inbound opportunities.
• Experience selling complex, enterprise-grade solutions.
• Strong understanding of Analytics, AI, data platforms, data modernization, or related technologies.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior technology and business executives.
• Strong discovery, qualification, negotiation, forecasting, and closing skills.
• Ability to overlay across multiple Account Executives and accounts.
• Strong collaboration and ability to influence without owning broad account relationships.
• High commercial ownership, urgency, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Deal Acceleration: Co-sell alongside account and territory owners on active deals with analytics platform opportunities.
• Pipeline Generation: Design and execute targeted campaigns within existing accounts to uncover analytics opportunities.
• Field Enablement: Act as the primary domain expert for the sales team, sharing analytics messaging and value propositions.
• Strategic Alignment: Align analytics solutions with broader account plans and territory strategies.
