Job summary

Adelphi Data is hiring a Product Owner to lead delivery planning for a large public-sector AI R&D program in the DC area. You will be embedded with our engineering team and own the PRDs, roadmaps, backlog, and timelines. Expect to stabilize undefined scopes, improve documentation, and drive startup-like delivery inside government work.

The role requires an active US clearance and hybrid work arrangement. You will work closely with the Sr.

Qualifications

2–5 years as a product owner, scrum master, or technical program manager with public sector delivery experience.
Ability to define missing requirements and size work credibly.
Proficient at keeping delivery boards honest and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

Own delivery planning across all projects for the customer, including scope, sequence, and timelines.
Write and maintain PRDs and roadmaps that anchor dates for both the team and customer.
Run the agile function: structure backlogs, build tickets with engineers, and manage delivery cadence.
Capture weekly mission owner input and translate it into executable work.
Define done criteria and protect scope with appropriate documentation.
Develop delivery reporting and metrics used by program leadership.
Establish intake, build, and delivery processes for new projects in this space.
