Job summary

Sitreps is seeking a Public Sector AI Product Manager to shape a platform for high-consequence government environments. You’ll work with government stakeholders across mission needs, technical evaluators, security teams, and internal teams to turn customer signals into product direction.

This hands-on, customer-facing role defines requirements, guides roadmaps, and ensures deployments translate into measurable mission outcomes, with on-site engagement and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, AI product strategy, technical program management, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI and LLM systems, including evaluation design, guardrails, observability, and agentic workflows.
• Experience building or scaling technical products for enterprise, government, or mission-critical customers.
• Strong technical fluency across AI/ML systems, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Become deeply fluent in the company's evaluation, guardrail, and agent governance platform.
• Build relationships with public sector customers and stakeholders to understand operational needs and success criteria.
• Translate customer signal into product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, and measurable requirements.
• Lead discovery, prototyping, and iteration for public sector use cases across AI evaluation, runtime controls, governance, and observability.
• Partner with engineering, research, design, delivery, and go-to-market teams to prioritize and ship capabilities that solve real customer problems.
• Analyze AI system behavior, evaluation results, datasets, failure modes, and customer workflows to refine product direction.
• Create customer-facing narratives, demos, collateral, and executive-ready materials to support adoption and market readiness.
• Track whether product investments deliver measurable outcomes, including risk reduction and deployment acceleration.
