Job summary

Alphahire is seeking an experienced AI/ML delivery lead to scope, plan, and drive enterprise AI initiatives for public-sector clients. You will steer scoping, implementation planning, and delivery across multiple agencies.

This role requires coordinating model deployment, integration, and documentation, and producing service delivery plans and client-ready artifacts. You’ll partner with governance and data-protection experts on responsible AI, and contribute to proposals when authorized.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise AI/ML solution delivery.
• Ability to translate business needs into implementable AI/ML service offerings.
• Willingness to work as a 1099, project-based collaborator.
• Availability for occasional client-site travel as needed.
• Public-sector or higher-education AI delivery experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating on data governance or responsible AI preferred.
• Experience with cooperative contracts or multi-entity task-order delivery preferred.
• Ability to cite 2-3 AI/ML delivery engagements, including scope, dates, and role, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML solution scoping, implementation planning, and delivery for public-sector clients.
• Coordinate model deployment, integration support, and documentation across participating entities.
• Produce service delivery plans, status reports, and client-ready technical artifacts.
• Partner with governance and subject-matter experts on responsible AI and data-handling requirements.
• Contribute delivery-lead qualifications and past-performance narratives to proposals when authorized.
• Coordinate stakeholders across participating state and local agencies.
