Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a public sector AI/ML delivery program. You will own the technical shape of what we ship, coordinate with engineers, operations and other public sector teams, and mentor a team of TPMs to deliver against senior government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 7+ years in stakeholder management or customer-facing role.
• Experience leading or mentoring program managers, engineers, or technical staff.
• Ownership of the technical delivery of a complex, multi-workstream program with senior government or enterprise stakeholders.
• Background in CS, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• Deep understanding of ML operations.
• Working knowledge of software delivery pipelines and DevOps.
• A track record of structured, analytics-driven problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers who own the program's key technical delivery areas.
• Own the technical shape of what we deliver and decide when to bespoke-build.
• Plan and sequence releases with engineering and manage risk.
• Serve as the senior technical voice to program stakeholders and users.
• Drive innovation and transformation for Public Sector customers.
• Leverage data and tools to create value for public sector customers.
• Transition AI/ML technologies into working Public Sector products.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and other public sector teams.
• Set the technical direction for a cross-functional team.
• Manage long-term health of the customer base and surface reusable work.
• Address engineering problems alongside product development teams.
