Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a Tailor/Seamstress (Production Associate) to alter uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals. You will ensure accurate measurements and fittings so wearers look professional.

This hands-on role requires reading work instructions, operating a heat press, and performing sewing and embellishments. Training is provided and the team emphasizes quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in alterations preferred; training provided.
• Ability to read/receive work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify the customer’s needs per the Work Instruction Document.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations, with the ability to problem-solve sizing issues.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments (zippers, patches, name strips, striping) with accuracy.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
