Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a Production Associate in Richmond, VA to alter uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals. You will take measurements, mark garments, and ensure precise alterations, including patches and name strips. Prior alterations experience is preferred, with training provided by GALLS.

This is an on-site role requiring attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Responsibilities include operating heat press equipment, reading English instruction documents,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Alterations experience preferred; GALLS will train.
• Read/receive work instructions in English.
• Extremely detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read customer needs per Work Instruction Document.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations, solving sizing issues.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments including patches, name strips, zippers.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
