Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a hands-on Tailor/Seamstress (Production Associate) to alterations uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals. You will ensure measurements and fittings are accurate so wearers look professional and feel confident.

In this role, you will read work instructions, take measurements, operate heat press and industrial sewing machines, and perform diverse alterations including patches, name strips, and hems. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in alterations preferred; training will be provided.
• Ability to read/receive work instructions in English.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused; accuracy is essential.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per work instructions.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate heat press safely.
• Perform alterations including patches, name strips, striping, and hems.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and meet production deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned.
