GALLS, LLC is seeking a Tailor/Seamstress (Production Associate) in Matawan, NJ. You will alter uniforms and equipment for public safety professionals, ensuring precise measurements and fittings for a confident, professional look.

Responsibilities include taking measurements, marking garments, operating a heat press, and performing various sewing alterations to meet production deadlines. Training is provided for alterations and industrial sewing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in Alterations preferred; training provided by GALLS.
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines; training provided by GALLS.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per work instruction.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate a heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform sewing, alterations, and embellishments with accuracy.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlines.
• Other duties as needed.
