Job summary

Emergency Services Consulting International (ESCI) is seeking an I/O Assessment Intern (Assessments and Training Public Safety) for an on-site role in Chantilly, VA. The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating testing processes for fire, police, EMS, and related agencies.

You will work with senior consultants and project managers, helping with exam development, data analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (or currently enrolled in a graduate program).
• Strong research, data collection, and analytical skills, preferably related to testing or assessment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and interact professionally with clients.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and comfort with data tools.
• Demonstrated interest in improving public safety systems.
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating public safety testing processes for fire, police, EMS, and related agencies.
• Help with exam and assessment development, validate testing tools, organize candidate testing materials, and help compile and analyze testing data.
• Prepare documentation and reports, and contribute to quality assurance and process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers on client-facing projects.
