Job description

Seeking candidate to support various project efforts including but not limited to emergency planning, mitigation planning, public health SNS planning, and the development and implementation of testing, training, and exercise programs. Past disaster experience and FEMA program knowledge is preferred. Ideal candidate will be pursuing advanced degrees in emergency management and/or a related discipline.

Required Qualifications / Experience

• GPA score of 3.8 or higher. Graduate candidates are preferred but not exclusively
• Must have demonstrated knowledge in regulations governing or affecting emergency management programs
• Effective written and oral communications skills
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Flexible style, able to immediately adapt to changing priorities
• Previous experience in emergency management planning and exercise development is a plus
• Familiarity with marketing, proposal development, and oral presentations is a plus
• Familiarity building, maintaining, and contributing to social media systems
• Team-oriented, motivated, and dedicated individuals are preferred
