Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Chantilly, Virginia is seeking an intern or entry-level candidate to conduct field observations at existing facilities and assist with a wide range of facilities-related services, including roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, and testing. You will participate in project meetings and help resolve both technical and administrative issues.

The role supports building forensics and mechanical systems within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree.
• Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs repeatedly or 85 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field observations at existing facilities.
• Provide facilities-related services including roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, sampling, leak and forensic investigations.
• Attend project meetings and assist in project resolutions.
• Assist with resolution of technical and administrative project issues.
