Job summary

McDowell County Emergency Services in North Carolina is seeking a 911 Telecommunicator to receive, prioritize, and process emergency and non-emergency calls while delivering professional customer service to residents and visitors.

No prior public safety experience is required; training and certifications follow hire. Career progression exists through Telecommunicator I, II, and III levels with leadership development and cross-training opportunities.
