Hancock County 911 seeks a Public Safety Systems Program Manager to oversee planning, maintenance, and strategic support of critical public safety infrastructure used by police, fire, EMS, and other agencies in Hancock County. You will coordinate with IT, vendors and partner agencies to ensure system reliability and operational readiness.

Formación

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience with public safety communications technology or related infrastructure preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD, RMS, radio systems and public safety technology platforms.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, agencies and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary liaison for County IT, IPSC, DPSC, telecommunications providers, vendors, and partner agencies regarding public safety communications systems and infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain public safety radio communications systems, including subscriber radios, console radios, system programming and interoperability systems.
• Support operational readiness, reliability, and maintenance of mission-critical communications systems for emergency responders.
• Coordinate with CAD, RMS, ProQA, Locution, Active911, PulsePoint, Vesta phone systems and related platforms.
• Manage Mobile Data Computers, Surface Pro devices, consoles and related equipment.
• Assist with public safety infrastructure projects including radio coverage systems, facility technology, and equipment installations.
• Maintain countywide camera systems, access control and related security infrastructure (excluding Sheriff's Department).
• Coordinate with local agencies on interoperability and system reliability.
• Maintain technology inventories and records; assist with grants and FOIA requests.
• Serve on a 24-hour on-call basis for outages and emergencies.
