Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Project Sales Engineer to deliver end-to-end system solutions for evaluations of mobile video, LPR, and digital evidence management software. You will collaborate with project management and sales to ensure successful evaluations and strong customer relationships.

The role requires translating complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences, with up to 50% travel in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Sales, Pre Sales, PM, Engineering or Public Safety
• OR 6+ years in Sales, Pre Sales, PM, Engineering or Public Safety
• Ability to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, protocols and security
• Self-motivated with a passion for technology and customer satisfaction
• Experience with MSI mobile video, LPR, software and/or radio products is desirable
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Deploy networking equipment on customer networks
• Provide support for deployed evaluations of installed systems
• Create and deliver training materials and technical collateral
• Review evaluation deployment processes to ensure world-class solutions
• Act as a conduit for customer feedback to product management and marketing
• Engage with sales to provide technical solutions to stakeholders
• Deliver product training and compelling demonstrations to decision makers
• Stay current on MSI products, services and related technologies
