Qualifications

• Must be able to react quickly in the event of a disturbance or physical outbreak.
• Willing to obtain AED Certification Adult/Child, Infant CPR/First Aid, and Passive Restraint Training after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages access control and video surveillance systems and related hardware; reviews and generates logs as needed.
• Performs security screening at entrances for the public and staff; assists deputies and conducts roving patrols after hours.
• Maintains detailed logs of after-hours events and monitors after-hours access to ensure safety.
• Interacts with the public and county agencies, providing guidance during normal operations and emergencies.
• Attends meetings, seminars, and training as directed.
• Performs other job duties as required; may be on-call or work varying shifts.
• Works in environments with potential disruptive individuals.
