Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time Security Officer at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center Public Safety team in Milwaukee, WI. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents with a service-oriented mindset while upholding hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required are a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license; CHSO certification must be obtained within two years. Wisconsin CCW and TASER training are also noted readiness items.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of security/public safety experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• CHSO certification within 2 years of appointment.
• For Illinois teammates: FOID and 20-hour course.
• For Wisconsin teammates: CCW license.
• Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) use within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services with professionalism and compassion.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely manner.
• De-escalate conflicts using approved force if necessary.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders as needed.
• Prepare timely and accurate incident reports.
