Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1 year of experience in security or related public safety.
• CHSO certification to be obtained within two years; Wisconsin CCW may be required for WI teammates; FOID if servicing IL.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state.

Responsibilities

• Provides security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion.
• Inspires confidence with a professional appearance and demeanor; adheres to safety rules and maintains equipment.
• Performs patrols and inspections to identify vulnerabilities, hazards, and fire conditions; manage patient valuables and contraband.
• Prevents and responds to workplace violence; handles combative or threatening individuals.
• De-escalates situations; may use force (e.g., CEW, handcuffing) when necessary.
• Plans and responds to emergencies (lost infants, fire, active threats).
• Responds to emergencies; intervenes physically as trained to prevent injuries.
• Investigates incidents; documents reports and escalates as needed.
• Delivers security awareness education and liaises with other departments.
• Coordinates with law enforcement and first responders; ensures policy compliance.
• Maintains training standards in radio comms, de-escalation, STOP the BLEED, CPR, restraints, TASER.
• Assists with exterior traffic and parking management.
