Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a security professional to monitor safety and provide rapid response to emergencies within the facility. You will protect students, staff, patients and visitors while maintaining property security and order.

The role requires de-escalation skills and the ability to apply sound judgment during critical events, with training in firearms, Taser, baton, and other protective measures as directed. Strong compliance with public safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of general security/public safety experience or equivalent training.
• IAHSS certification within 1 year required.
• Carry non-lethal weapons such as a Taser CEW and/or baton required.
• Carry company issued firearm required.
• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening required.
• Must pass and maintain all training to include firearms, Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and related trainings required.
• P.O.S.T. certification preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required


• IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer within 1 Year Required
