Middlebury College in Vermont is seeking a full-time, benefits-eligible security position with an hourly wage range of $25.20–$29.79. The role includes patrolling campus facilities, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and educating the campus community on safety and policies.
Applicants should have a high school diploma (post-secondary education preferred), a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.
Provides safety and security services which include the implementation and administration of programs that assist the campus community in maintaining order and/or improving the personal safety of the students, faculty, staff, guests, and property of the College. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $25.20 - $29.79 per hour.
Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs several times per day. Must be able to walk long distances, for extended periods of time and on various types of terrain. Must be able to sit, stand and drive for extended periods of time. Must be able to get in and out of a vehicle several times per day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs occasionally. Must work in inclement weather - hot, cold, rain, snow, ice.
