Job summary

Yuma County Sheriff's Office seeks a technically skilled IT Systems Administrator to maintain mission-critical systems and public safety applications. You will design, deploy, and secure Windows Server environments, administer Active Directory, and ensure system uptime across virtualized and physical infrastructures.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree in IT, 3 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration.
• Experience administering, configuring, managing, installing, and troubleshooting Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, M365, and Active Directory.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and administer systems for public safety applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage backup solutions and virtualization infrastructure.
• Document procedures and perform regular system audits and security updates.
• Respond to incidents and provide on-call support.
