The City of Fredericksburg, Virginia is seeking an IT Business Analyst for Public Safety to support CAD, RMS, NG911, and related systems across Police, Fire/EMS, Dispatch, and Emergency Management. You’ll analyze workflows, coordinate system upgrades, create reports and user guides, and collaborate with agencies to improve operational effectiveness.

This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in software configuration, application support, or IT operations.
• Ability to pass a Police background investigation.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support CAD, RMS, mobile/in-car apps, and NG911; troubleshoot issues.
• Align Police/Fire/EMS/Dispatch workflows with systems; identify enhancements.
• Create reports, documentation, and training materials.
