Job summary

City of Westminster, CO seeks a Senior GIS Analyst - Public Safety to lead GIS administration in support of CAD, RMS, NG911, and other public safety tech. The role focuses on data management, system integrations, and scalable GIS solutions within emergency response operations.

The position drives implementation of advanced GIS workflows, coordinates with internal teams and regional partners, and oversees vendor relations to ensure reliable mapping and call routing for public safety operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher with GIS/related field and 5+ years GIS experience.
• Or at least 3 years GIS experience supporting public safety operations (CAD/RMS).
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS platforms and SQL data work.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS admin, maintenance, and integration for CAD/RMS and NG911.
• Develop scalable GIS solutions within public safety constraints.
• Manage data quality, datasets, and GIS workflows for dispatch accuracy.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire, and Communications Center personnel.
• Lead GIS-related projects and regional CAD2CAD initiatives.
