Job summary

SLG Innovation is seeking a CAD Administrator to oversee the Computer-Aided Dispatch system, ensuring secure operation, data integrity, and efficient performance for public safety agencies. The role covers software installation, configuration, and end-user support.

You will manage databases, coordinate with IT, GIS, Police, Fire, and EMS stakeholders, and contribute to policy and security enhancements while maintaining records and facilitating data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma with relevant CAD experience may be acceptable.
• Public safety CAD/Mobile systems experience desirable.
• Certifications in EMS, Fire Science, or Criminal Justice are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and configuration of CAD software.
• Manage CAD databases ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Install, configure, and update CAD and related applications.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support.
• Manage user accounts and access controls in CAD systems.
• Maintain CAD hardware/software licenses and documentation.
• Generate reports and analyze data trends for management.
• Collaborate with IT, dispatch, GIS, and third-party vendors.
