Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Security Dispatcher to coordinate Safety and Security actions for patients, visitors, and employees. You will monitor public safety, property protection, risk management, and investigations, ensuring fast and accurate communication across hospital sites.

The role requires strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and the ability to operate under high-stress emergencies while coordinating security resources and cross-training across CHN locations.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to obtain essential information.
• Appropriate evaluations of and response to all incoming activity.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local municipal agencies and city departments.
• Coordination, reception, and transmission of radio traffic between Hospital Security and location police and fire.
• Must retain cross training for all Community Health Network sites.
• Ability to work in potential high stress emergencies to coordinate security resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Safety and Security department actions across patients, visitors and staff.
• Monitor and respond to public safety, property protection, risk management and investigations.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, law enforcement, and EMS as needed.
