Job summary

Boyne Resorts’ Summit at Snoqualmie in Washington seeks a Public Safety Dispatcher to serve as the central communications hub for the Public Safety Department, coordinating radio and digital communications and dispatching security personnel during incidents.

You will monitor alarms and cameras, liaise with other resort departments, and brief on-site responders while upholding confidentiality. The role is on-site, full-time, with sick time accrual, Ally Health benefits, and 401(k) eligibility.

• Contact external agencies to communicate hazards and coordinate joint responses
• Act as liaison between security and other resort departments (Parking, Transportation, Guest Services, Mountain Operations)
• Greet and assist walk-in visitors to the Security office with professionalism

The Public SafetyDispatcher plays a key role in facilitating clear communication and efficiency in the public safety department. This position serves as the central communication hub for the Public SafetyDepartment and reports to the Public Supervisor as well as the Public safety manager when needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and maintains professionalism and remains calm under pressure.This role will work closely with other departments to coordinate on a variety of issues.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Long Term Thinking

• Maintain up-to-date contact lists, emergency response plans, and department schedules.
• Support administrative tasks such as shift documentation, equipment logs, and report compilation.

• Act as the primary communication liaison between the security team and other resort departments, such as Parking, Transportation, Guest Services, and Mountain Operations.
• Greet and assist walk-in visitors to the Security office with professionalism and discretion.

Serve First

• Alert local law enforcement or emergency services as needed and relay key information to on-site responders.
• Assist the Security Manager and Supervisors with communication-based projects and daily operational coordination.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Familiarity with two-way radio protocol and dispatch operations preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage range for this positions is: from $21.00 to $2 3.55/hr

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.

All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
