Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Public Safety Call Center Representative to determine the nature and location of calls and dispatch appropriate responders using CAD software. You will monitor radios, phones, CCTV, and alarms while coordinating with police, fire, and hospital personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience in emergency or security dispatch preferred but not required.
• Ability to stay calm and communicate effectively under pressure.
• Multitask reliably and operate headset, phones, and radio equipment.
• CPR/AED certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Determine priorities for service response and dispatch appropriate safety units.
• Operate multiple radio consoles, telephone and CAD systems.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, access control, and weather alert systems.
• Document dispatch activities and maintain on-call schedules.
• Coordinate with police, fire, and hospital management as needed.
