Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking a civilian Field Operations team member to respond to non-emergency incidents, prepare accurate incident reports, and support sworn officers in the field. You will work within a para-military structure, ensuring professional customer service to residents and visitors.

Required are strong writing skills, a valid Georgia driver's license, and the ability to operate standard software for reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Outstanding writing, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18+ with a valid GA driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to non-injury 911 calls and complete accurate reports.
• Assist sworn officers by directing traffic at incidents.
• Collect evidence and process theft from motor vehicle cases when suspects are not present.
• Prepare and file incident and accident reports for investigations.
