Responsibilities

• Enforce animal control and protection ordinances; issue citations and impound animals.
• Receive and investigate complaints; respond to stray or injured animals.
• Capture, trap or relocate animals; assist in euthanasia as authorized.
• Contact dog owners after bites and supervise confinement and reporting.
• Attend community events and provide public information on animal care.
