Job summary

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in Tallahassee seeks a detail-oriented Government Operations Consultant I to manage public records, reporting, and data requests.

This role supports data analysis, dashboard development, and ongoing licensing system oversight, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely updates and effective communication of project plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Six years’ professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, or administrative work.
• A bachelor’s degree can substitute for four of the six years.
• Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based).
• Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST; not eligible for Telework.

Responsibilities

• Assists with updating, monitoring, and scoping of assigned system(s) according to work plan and office needs.
• Completes action items related to system functions including setups and regular maintenance.
• Monitors and updates regularly scheduled system functions and processes.
• Communicates with internal and external groups to keep them informed of project plans, updates, and upcoming events.
• Provides regular status updates to supervisor.
