Job summary

Washington State Patrol seeks a Forms and Records Analyst 3 to manage public disclosure requests for the Forensic Laboratory Services Bureau and related divisions. The role supports records management and compliance with state laws while assisting with administrative duties across divisions.

A 5% geographic pay is included with base compensation, and interviews are planned December 9–23. The position emphasizes ensuring redaction of non-disclosable information, coordinating with managers on

Qualifications

Two years experience in administrative support, records management, or related field.
Proficiency with Adobe Pro for redaction and document handling.
Knowledge of document formatting and hyperlinking.

Responsibilities

Coordinate responses to public disclosure requests, subpoenas, and discovery, including delivery, access, and retention of records.
Assist requestors in defining the scope of records and identify redactions.
Ensure disclosure requests are properly vetted and non-disclosable information is redacted before release.
Consult with managers to ensure staff follow records retention requirements and policies.
Interact with staff to collect responsive records and complete required forms with the Public Records Officer.
