Job summary

Pit Crew in Brooklyn, NY invites a Senior Product Management Fellow for an 18-month, grant-funded fellowship to shape, ship, and launch resident-facing products end-to-end. You will pair with designers, engineers, researchers, and policy teams to move from problem framing to public launch, balancing scope, quality, and timelines.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive discovery, set product direction, and ship impactful, measurable outcomes for New Yorkers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional product management experience, shipping consumer- or resident-facing digital products.
• Hands-on experience taking a product from concept through public launch.
• Experience working on small cross-functional product teams with designers, engineers and researchers.
• Fluency with discovery, user research, prioritization, scoping, metrics, and post-launch measurement.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief and lead meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing relationships with senior or executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience shipping products in complex, regulated, or legacy environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead resident-facing products end-to-end, from problem framing through public launch.
• Move quickly through discovery, MVP iteration, pilot, and launch, balancing scope, quality, and timing.
• Plan and run discovery with residents and agency partners; translate findings into product direction.
• Partner with designers, engineers, researchers, and other OTI staff on day-to-day decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with agency staff, policy advisors, and executives; translate policy goals into product decisions.
• Coordinate with the broader team for production launch, including platforms, security, accessibility, and compliance.
• Define and measure success; instrument products and report learnings.
